Happy Friday! Fridays are always good, especially after a lengthy week at school/college/work. So now I have a small post on my favourites 'lately'.. I can't say they are May favourites because it is June and I can't say they are June favourites because it is only the 5th, and to be perfectly honest I don't know how long they have been favourites for. So lets just say Friday Favourites because one thing I am sure of is that it's Friday. Ok..
Garnier Micellar Water
I'm pretty sure everyone knows what this is by now. When it first hit the shelves it literally took the world by storm, we all went crazy for it, not being entirely sure what it was, or what it done, or if it was any good. But we all bought it anyway. Turns out this stuff is amazing. I use it pretty much every day, or at least when I have a full face of makeup on. I would use it to remove the bulk and then wash my face with like, real face wash and stuff. It doesn't dry out your skin or anything, it literally just feels like water, but, it's magic water. You can use it for taking makeup off, washing your makeup brushes, wiping down your makeup desk if you have any splatters of foundation or a trace of mascara thats flew uncontrollably out of the tube. In fact, I am pretty sure that in a deranged state of panic (probably due to being late), I have used this to wipe makeup off my collar after throwing my white jumper at my head before leaving the house.... And it worked. Life win. You can get it in Boots and Superdrug and those incredible places for about £4.99.
Lush Cupcake Facemask
Lush Cupcake Facemask
So basically the staff in Lush are really cool and if you tell them what your problem is they can find you a face mask to fix it, or at least calm it down. They recommended this one for me; for oily teenage skin, but with cocoa butter so it doesn't completely dry out the skin, and with mint to turn down redness. It looks like crap and depending on what kind of smells you like, you might think it smells like it too. I still haven't decided whether or not I like the smell but I don't particularly care when I have a face that feels and looks like a peach. This was £6.95 and I would honestly reccomend that you all go to Lush and ask them for a facemask for your skin type.
Rimmel Stay Matte Primer
Rimmel Stay Matte Primer
I never stop going on about my repugnant oily skin. So sorry about that. But I love products that counteract it, like this. THIS MUST BE THE BEST PRIMER I HAVE EVER USED SO FAR. Oh my god, it goes on my face and sinks in straight away, it's not thick or anything and it's not greasy (obviously), and your makeup doesn't slide off over the top of it. Love it. I think it helps my makeup to stay on for a bit longer but mostly makes it look matte, and paired with a matte powder; dream team. It is £5.99 from Superdrug.
Soap&Glory Solar Powder
Soap&Glory Solar Powder
I am quite a fan of Soap&Glory's makeup, I suppose you could say I have been every Christmas since year 7 when I have gained a Sexy Mother Pucker lipgloss and thought I was the glammest of glam. Oh dear.
But recently I have bought a few more of their products, including this little beauty. As you can see it's split down the middle so it's not too dark of a shade, however is so heavily pigmented meaning you only need a tiny bit AND IT LASTS LONGER. YAY. It has such a sun kissed colour to it, and is good for a light dusting of all over bronzer, or light daytime contouring. It comes in at £11.00 from Boots.
That's all for now. Hope you enjoyed this mini faves post! Let me know what you thought, or follow me on Twitter/Instagram for a chat!
