For my 18th birthday, I was treated to a trip to London. It looked so pretty and festive, so much so that I am desperate to pull out my ugliest Christmas jumper.
I went down on the Friday morning and came home on Saturday night, it was a short but sweet trip. I have been to London a few times but usually it has been dance related and I haven't had chance, nor was I interested in shopping (lol was i okay?). Now that I have an unhealthy obsession with clothes and makeup I thought it would have been a crime not to visit Oxford Street...
...Twice.
...Twice.
There was something about Oxford Street that reminded me of the busy Shanghai high streets. I went to Shanghai in 2013 and oh my god I didn't realise it was that long ago until I've just typed it. The streets were busy and full of energy with people pacing in every direction, especially at this time of the year. If you're not expecting this post to now be full of things I bought, it probably means you're new to my blog because well... I seem to spend my life buying makeup and clothes.
Rimmel Exaggerate - 063 Eastend Snob
J LO for L'orel Paris - J Lo's Nude
Unintentionally bought the perfect lip combo. Literally didn't even realise how pretty they would look together. I have been after the lip liner for a good while after seeing LucyAndLydia rave about it on YouTube - SUBSCRIBE TO THEIR CHANNEL THEY ARE THE SWEETEST - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCROXVQa187cKWyiBMe-yftQ
I would say I have looked in around 6 stores for this, and they have all been sold out in this shade, even in London I had to go to a few Superdrug's before I got my hands on it. I have no regrets, this is the best lip liner I have used in a long time. Lucy and Lydia described it as 'the perfect pinky nude' and thats exactly what it is. It's long wearing and can be worn alone, but I have been sporting the J Lo lipstick over the top for a creamier look, but together they don't last as long. The lipstick is quite transparent on it's own and looks more like a lipgloss but to be honest I just bought it because J LO.

Not gunna lie, haven't yet had a bad eyeliner day using this, its like magic. Soap & Glory Supercat is my new best friend. It is so easy to apply a wing, I'm all about 'dat wing trend but I'm such a woeful eyeliner applier so I never wear it. Lately however I have been struggling to leave the house without a wing! If you're a bit like me and you just can't get the hang of it, please go buy this, it will change your life.
I had to.
MAC Fluidline Brow Gelcreme - True Brunette
MAC Magic of the Night Collection - Matte Lipstick in Evening Rendezvous
Both products were totally worth the splurge. I have never had such fleeky eyebrows and I think I have found my perfect plum lip shade.Just in time for Winter, I have been loving the big brows and dark lips. I literally feel like I can draw on my brows any shape I want to and they will still look good. The lipstick although matte is not drying at all, and it's so long lasting. I always judge how long a lipstick lasts by checking if it is still there after I eat because that's what I spend most of my life doing when I'm not shopping.

HELLO Christmas. I was so drawn to this top when I found it in H&M, because it's just like a Christmas tree covered in tinsel... But in top form. Is that real? I love it. It's also kind of mermaidy because when you move the colours 'change' in a way... So, yeah... mermaid Christmas vest. Can't go wrong. The back of the top is just black chiffon but I'm sure if it was covered in sequins like the front I would probably still wear it for like the whole of December because I am ALL about Christmas this year, which probably has something to do with the fact I have spent a large chunk of my time tucked up in bed with tea watching old Zoella Vlogmas from 2013/2014.. P.S 3 SLEEPS TILL 2015 VLOGMAS. If you haven't watched Zoella's Vlogmas videos, where have you been for a start, and secondly, you must watch them here. But yeah, love this cute little number.
More Christmas decoration clothes!! This picture is actually terrible, it does NO justice for the petrol blue colour! This is a kind of ribbed, high neck, glittery, slightly cropped jumper also from H&M. That was a long description but hey, it's bang on trend for the Winter. It's so cosy and looks really pretty with skirts and jeans. I'll probably/definitely be wearing this again soon so let me know if you would like to see an outfit post.
Can't actually believe I have got this far through a post without mentioning the fact I went to see Wicked! It blew me away!!! I had to get a little t-shirt, and we all know theatre prices are well, pricey, but this one was on sale for £12 so me being a student who's priorities include good eyebrows and berry lips decided to go with the cheapest t-shirt.
Finally, I went to see all the usual touristy stuff that people in London probably don't really care about... Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the Tower Bridge etc. but then I went to a Hard Rock Cafe, the weather was absolutely awful and we needed to get inside somewhere. We waited 40 minutes for a table, so went into the Hard Rock Shop and may or may not have spent a lot of money.
I got this cute little vest, and also the original Hard Rock hoody. Everywhere I go, I say I am going to get one and I don't, so I spontaneously forked out £34.99 for a hoody. It is really warm though, and has been keeping me cosy on the way to college.
Just as a final word, I wanted to tell you all I moved to a college that specialises in arts, so I am now studying Musical Theatre full time. I love it, and it suits me so much more than sixth form.
Hope you're all feeling Christmassy and sorry I haven't posted for a while, with moving colleges and dancing outside of that, I have been very busy! Now that I have settled in I am going to try and post more regularly! Please comment what you think and give me some post inspiration!
