After college today I went for a small spot of shopping with my mum to 'pick up a few bits'.. But we can never help ourselves and always end up buying things we don't particularly 'need'!! I have bought some gorgeous little items today, so this is gonna be a big post. I will talk about each one individually so if you don't want to read about one of them, just scroll down! Enjoy xo
Firstly, some eye make up remover; a key item in my skincare collection! I am a lover of big, black lashes, coated in mascara. Because of this, a shower and some face wash just doesn't bring it off. I have had this product before and it really works, and has such a pleasant smell and is so gentle on the eyes (even my eyes, that are always watering!) This was priced at £1.99 in Savers!
I haven't used eyelash curlers since I was in about my first year of high school. I stopped using them because I used to use them after my mascara, meaning my lashes would literally get glued to the curler, I've never felt pain like it. I have realised this is probably not the best way to use them, and that it would make more sense to curl my lashes, THEN apply mascara. I have came a long way since the age of 12. These were (believe it or not) 89p! Worth a try for that price! Also from Savers.
I spent over £7 at the Barry M counter in Superdrug today, and because of that, I got this product free! I'm so excited to try it because I usually use the Soap&Glory Thick&Fast mascara for the volume of my lashes, but I have found it dries out really quite quickly. This one has a similar brush, so I'm excited to see if it will last longer! I'm not sure on the price of this because I didn't have to pay for it, but I imagine it will be somewhere close to £5.
I am totally and utterly awful at any sort of eyeshadow technique, usually. I watched a tutorial a while ago, and I discovered eyeshadow crayons! I bought two of the Barry M ones because of it, to see of they were any easier to use, and they were SO much easier than powder eyeshadows! So for anyone like me who hasn't got the most artistic hand when it comes to eyeshadow, try these babies! I already have the shades 'Brown Black' and 'Bronze' which are amazing, so I bought these ones today. One is a really pearly white which could probably be used for a highlighter on the cheeks as well, and the other is a really grungy black which will be stunning with a bronzed cheek and a pink lip. The white one is called 'Gold Creme' and the dark one is 'Gun Metal'. You have to work quite fast with these because they dry quickly, but they blend so easily so it isn't a problem! They are priced at £4.59 each from Superdrug.
These lipsticks have been getting talked about since the minute they came out! Kate Moss' Rimmel lipsticks are gorgeous, and the packaging is so cute too. I have seen so many people talk about this shade in particular; 107. It is a maroony/red, which makes for a really bold lip colour. I am so excited to use it. I am a lover of red lipstick, I'm sure you are too. If you don't own a red lipstick you should definitely buy one; they are timeless. I am so excited to use this and see if it stays on for a good amount of time. I bought this from Savers at the Rimmel stand for £4.98.
A few months ago, the gorgeous Kelly Osbourne did a range for MAC, including the sweetest matte lilac lipstick in the most adorable packaging. I went into MAC yesterday and they don't sell it anymore. To anyone who owns this lipstick, I am super jealous! I found a Barry M one today, in the shade 'Palest Lavander'. I'm not sure it will match up to the amazing standards of MAC lipsticks, but it was worth a try for the price (£4.49 from Superdrug)
Here are both of the lipsticks from today's purchases on my hand.

Next, are two matching products (and I love when things match), which also match with my holy grail moisturiser! Everything is so matchy!
As you all know, I love coconut scented things! My favourite moisturiser of all time is by the same brand as these two products. The lip balm was just 89p, and seeing as it's coming into Autumn now, I need one to pop in my bag because I always end up with dry lips. I like to buy myself a new one each year, I can't help it. Again, couldn't go wrong for such a small price! I am also trying really hard to grow my nails long, I haven't painted them for like, months, which is so emotional because I am a lover of painted nails, but if I means they will grow.. Whatever! I also apply my Superdrug hand cream all the time when I'm at home, but this little one is spathe perfect size for my bag! This was £1.99. To have long nails and hands that smell of coconuts I had to. Both products are from Savers.
