My first favourites post! I feel like a real blogger! I have a variety of things this month, beauty and hair! Let's get started.
Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer - Natural 2
So many of my favourite bloggers use this product; Zoella, Inthefrow, LucyAndLydia.. So automatically, I had to give it a go! I put my trust in these girls all the time when it comes to products, and they never fail me! I got this in September, and it has so many uses. If I am having a day were I'm not really wearing a lot of makeup, maybe for college, I will put a little bit under my eyes, just to stop me looking like a zombie first thing on a Monday morning. I have also started to use it as a highlighter under my eyes, down my nose, on my Cupid's bow and on my forehead. I don't use it on my cheeks because I like a pearly highlight on my cheekbones, so I will usually go for High Beam from Benefit. It has a twisty thing at the bottom (no idea what it is actually called), but you twist it and it pumps more product onto the brush. Multi use products are my favourite! This was £3.99 from Superdrug
Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder - Transparent 021
I have combination skin, so after maybe an hour, my makeup starts to look a little oily. I wanted a powder that wouldn't change the colour of my foundation, or make my face look like clay after I applied powder. I chose this one because it was cheap (£3.99) and from Rimmel; a super trusted brand. I don't use this all over my face, but I will pat it onto my nose and kind of cheek area, as well as on my chin and forehead. I do this with the flat side of my Real Techniques Setting Brush. It has really helped to maintain the oiliness of my skin.
L'oreal True Match Foundation - W3 Golden Beige
I follow Lauren Curtis on Instagram and YouTube, she's the best! She is truly inspirational, and she has said she has found her holy grail foundation in this product! For this reason, I had to give it a go. I didn't get a shade that would suit my day to day skin, but for my skin when I wear false tan. This is usually for parties and through half term and stuff, so I don't wear it too often. It is quite thick so I suppose it's good that I don't wear it every day. I wore it a couple of times on its own, but then I tried it out with my. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in shade 53. It was even better mixed with this, and give the most flawless finish! I couldn't be happier with it, and it gives a really full coverage. This was £9.99 and totally worth it.
Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel - Clear
I flick backwards and forwards between eyebrow products depending on how recently I have had them waxed and tinted. I centre around my e.l.f eyebrow kit, but sometimes will use a pencil. I find that the powder in my kit comes off quite easily, so I needed something to keep them in place! I picked this up when I bought a few other Rimmel bits and pieces, as there was a 3 for 2 offer on in Superdrug. It really does work! When you apply your pencil/gel/powder, simply brush a bit of this gel on top, and it keeps them in place all day! It also comes in coloured shades, so you don't end to apply any products before hand, but I got a clear one. I really would reccomend this, and it was £3.99 from Superdrug.
Real Techniques Contour Brush
I love Real Techniques brushes. I have actually accumulated quite a collection of them now. I recently bought this one, and it's probably my favourite of them all. It is PERFECT for contouring cheeks and forehead. The bristles are super soft and the general shape comes to a soft point. It could be used for blusher also. It came as part of the Core Collection kit, (you get the Contour Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush, Detailer Brush and Buffing Brush) which I managed to get while it was on offer in Asda, for £14.99!
Beyoncé Heat The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Perfume
I received this as a present for my birthday last month, and it's really refreshing! It's not too sickly sweet or fruity, it's just really fresh. It's a great perfume to pop in your bag, even if you're already wearing another. I have carried it everywhere with me, and I love it.
Charles Worthington Front Cover Rough and Tousled Salt Spray
I have been using this for months now, and it is my ultimate go-to product of a morning. My hair is naturally wavy, however I like to make it look more scruffy and beachy. I spray it through the lengths of my hair and I'm ready to go. It smells really good too! Surprisingly, this was just 89p from Home Bargains!
Hope you enjoyed this post!! See you next time xo
