Here is my dog making her debut on this very festive post... Her name is Mitzi.
At this time of year, it's so lovely to have a cosy day inside and just forget about everything for a little while. Because I don't get the chance very often to have a 'lazy day', I like to go full out when I do; face masks, long baths, junk food; the lot. As I mentioned last week, I really am feeling festive this year so I've put together a little list of essentials for a Winter spin on my idea of a lazy day.

A bath. In an ideal world, every bath would be filled with wonderful colours, smells and bubbles from Lush, but as a student, I simply cannot justify technically paying close to five pound every time I want to have a wash. I adore Lush, and I do wish I could splurge on more of their bath bombs and bubble bars, so when I do have them, it's classed as a treat. I save my products for days when I have had a particularly hard day of rehearsals, or a stressful week, or sometimes simply for a day like this one; a lazy day.

Next, a face mask. If you read my blog back in the Summer, you would have been around to see me find my holy grail face mask, also from Lush - Cupcake. I'm literally obsessed with it. It is targeted at young, oily skin, to clear blackheads and turn down redness and let me tell you, it does exactly that. It costs £5.95, and I would say I get around 8 go's from it. One of my favourite things is that when you collect five empty pots, you take them into store, and get a free one in return, which is probably just an excuse to spend what you would have spent on the said face mask on another bath bomb.. Or twelve. The smell is very rich and chocolatey, which some people would find sickly but I love it and the sweetness fits in perfectly with the theme of eating junk food and only junk food throughout the festive season.

Such a lovely bath and face mask wouldn't be complete without some moisturiser. I have been using this Christmassy set from Baylis & Harding, which includes:
Cherry Glaze Cupcake body scrub
Chocolate Cupcake shower creme
Vanilla Frosting body lotion
All three smell amazing, and were gifted to me last year by one of my friends. I kept the products wrapped up until this year and they're perfect!

Once it hits December, my priority usually becomes watching Christmas films with a cosy blanket. This year and last year however, with the rise of YouTubers and the Vlogmas trend, I find myself watching YouTube like it's TV. 2015 Vlogmas has officially started and quite a few of my favourite people are doing it this year, so I've been loving that too.

Make yourself a hot drink!
Have you tasted the Magic Stars hot chocolate? I am usually a tea drinker because I think hot chocolate tastes pretty much like warm water sometimes, but I have never obsessed over a hot chocolate like this one. You make it with milk instead of water and it is so much tastier and it actually has tiny magic starts in it too - so cute.

I think you can buy it in most supermarkets, if you can get your hands on it, try it! I think I may have went slightly O.T.T with the decorations and cream but whatever.
That's pretty much it for the essentials. Incase I haven't already gone full blown Christmas with this post, here's a few snaps from my bedroom, which looks like Christmas threw up on it.
Thank you for reading; please comment what you thought and let me know what you would like me to talk about next!
