Hi lovelies. I hope you all had a wonderful New Year, and I would like to wish everybody the best of luck for the months to come. Today, I am going to share my choice of outfit, and tell you what I got up to on New Years Eve and New Years Day!
If you read my last post, you would have seen I had intentions to go to town with some friends on NYE, and do a bit of night photography. We did go to the city centre, however we had to come back home pretty much as soon as we got there due to bus and train services stopping early, which was disappointing. Because I got home so early, I went to meet some friends at a party, and I had a really good night.
On New Years Day, I met up with Luke (http://avery-adventures.weebly.com), Georgia (http://pictureitinsideout.weebly.com), and Jack, who's blog I have not introduced yet, but I will a bit later on (http://lifeisjustastory.weebly.com). We went to town to do some shopping, but most of our favourite vintage shops and even some of our favourite high street stores were closed. We strolled around for a while, taking a couple of photos here and there, and went to Barburrito for lunch. Afterwards we went to the Albert Docks, and got a couple more photos, before heading home. So, here was my choice of outfit.

Vintage Dress - charity shop find, £5
Black Tights - Primark, £5 for a pack of 3
White Hi-Top Converse - Schuh, £40
Yin&Yang Choker - The Hippy Hole, £3
Lipstick - Rimmel Kate 107 (who'd have thought it?!)
So here, we have one of my absolute favourite vintage dimes. I wasn't sure on this dress at first, but since wearing it once I can't get enough. It was probably made somewhere in the 60s, but I have totally 90s'd it up with a scruffy side pony, a choker and some Converse! This dress is a really flattering shape, with a slight curve in the shape of the skirt, which draws in at the bottom, and cuffed sleeves. I took another photo so you could see the pattern up close, because I don't really know how to explain it! It reminds me a lot of Christmas tree baubles, and I often refer to it as my bauble dress, ha! But now that I am this in love with it, I am going to definitely be wearing it in the Summer, long before the baubles come out, with some cute sandals or boots.

Moving on, I got some great photos while I was in town. Georgia also got one of my outside my favourite independent coffee shop; Bold Street Coffee.
Here are some of the photos I took, and a couple featuring me too!
The guy in these photos is Jack. He just started a blog recently, it's called http://lifeisjustastory.weebly.com. He is really into fashion, and knows how to put together super cool outfits, which often feature a jazzy piece of vintage clothing. He focuses mainly on guys fashion, but I enjoy reading his views on clothes and outfits, so maybe other girls would too.
Thats all for now guys, hope to see you soon. If you have any questions or enquiries please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected] or leave a comment below!
